ONCE IN A BLIZZARD...

After the chaos of the last year, the beginning of 2021 brought us a couple of blizzards. With each snowfall only lasting a couple of days. Having missed my first opportunity I waited eagerly for the next snowflake to fall before grabbing my Mamiya C330 and venturing out into the cold. With a wrapped up Whippet by my side of course.

 

After receiving the scans back from the developer I have learnt the hard way about shooting in snowy conditions. Always wipe the lens and focus quickly! Although I have to say having snow on the lens does make for rather intriguing shots. It seems to have an ageing affect on the photographs, dating them quite dramatically compared to the other images.
